| Comments: | Here is information regarding the upcoming IWSF Safety and Judges Clinic: Date: Saturday, February 9, 2013 Location: Holiday Inn Express, 1031 Wylie Drive, Bloomington, IL Time: Safety Clinic 8:30 – 11:30 Judges (S,J) 12:30 – 4:00 Dr. Darr Leutz will facilitate the Safety Clinic and Kelly Zoellner will lead the Judges Clinic. The Safety Clinic will include time in the pool, so come prepared with a swim suit, towel, etc. Cost for each clinic is $20.00 each. If you are interested in traveling to Bloomington on Friday night, there is a block of rooms on hold for a discounted rate of $100.00. They are being held under Illinois Water Ski Federation. | Comments: | IWWF Approves Jaquess' World Record The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation's Tournament Council has approved the pending women's world slalom record of 1-1/4 buoys at 41 feet set by U.S. athlete Regina Jaquess on Oct. 23 at the 2010 Red Bar Belgian Cup at Shortline Lakes in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. She is now the sole owner of the women's world slalom record, and has another pending record of 1-1/2 buoys at 41 feet currently under review by the IWWF. |
