Grab the toeside edge of the board with the back hand. Flex the legs and grab between the feet.
STALE FISH GRAB
Flex the legs and grab the heel side edge with the back hand. Place the hand between the feet.
Flex the knees only, so that the board is near the rider's back. Grab the heelside edge between the feet with the front hand. Arching the back helps with the reach to the board.
Boning is flexing one leg and extending the other. A grab may be added for style. You can extend either the front or back leg. The remaining leg must be flexed.
A stiffie is performed with the legs fully extended. Just before landing, the legs should be flexed to absorb the landing
