Start the tripod from the glide position by making a skidded toe side turn (Photos 1 and 2). Place your
hands on the snow as two of the three supports for the tripod (Photo 3). Push up onto the nose of the
board and support the body with the hands and nose of the board (Photo 4). Continue to glide downhill in the tripod
position. To finish, lift one hand (Photo 5)
and rotate back into the upright glide position (Photo 6).
