THE IRON CROSS WITH EDGE GRAB

Hit the jump so that you get plenty of air (Photo 1). As the body becomes airborne and the skis leave the snow, quickly begin to rotate the skis inward (Photo 2). Simultaneously extend the hand and flex the legs so that the edge grab occurs when the skis are crossed at the maximum height of the jump (Photo 3). The free hand must be raised to counteract the movement of the grab.

In preparation for landing, release the grab and begin to straighten the skis (Photo 4). Extend the body in preparation for landing (photo 5) and absorb the landing by flexing the knees and hips (Photo 6).
